It’s funny how you opened this and thought I actually wrote an article but I didn’t it’s just an April fools joke. Well I hope you liked this joke. Have a great week!
I’ve introduced you to a lot of seniors from South Lancaster Academy and their experience like Tristan Johnson, Stephen LaFrankie and Jared Allain. This person I will present to you his name is Carl Hendy Aguy, he started attending here in January. Carl moved to Massachusetts because his father got a job as Pastoring here, in his whole life he moved because of his fathers job.He came from Sant Aurora, Colorado he attended Eaglecrest High school to South Lancaster Academy.
The first day at SLA, don’t know what to really say, but all my life I would start school in public, now I am in a private. Not much have changed other then the religion part we could read the bible and talk about God. My first day here was great, everyone was nice and kind to me they showed me my classes. The teachers were nice to me as well. So far what was important was that they made me feel welcome and that I belonged here like any other school I attended. I’m happy I get to finish my senior year in South Lancaster Academy.
– Thank you, Carl Aguy for telling us your first day in SLA!

Valentine’s Day is actually a Catholic Holiday used to celebrate an early martyr named Saint Valentine. In early medieval times there was no mention of romance… weird right? Valentine’s Day is not a holiday created to warm the hearts of everyone. I think it’s cute holiday for couples to do something adorable for each other like give gifts, bouquet of roses, and chocolates. Most people are cynical toward the holiday because of the days’ potential to remind people that they’re “alone” – as if they didn’t know already. This holiday could turn into a puddle of negativity. I remember how elementary school was amazing on Feb. 14, when you gave everyone in your class cards with stickers with hearts and Cupids on them along with a bunch of candy… but who cares if you don’t have anyone to overwhelm your feelings with? Celebrate it by buying yourself strawberry covered chocolates!
Valentine’s Day shouldn’t just be a holiday that forces guys to give their girlfriends cheesy teddy bears that are stamped with the white cursive, ” I love you.” You should always express your feelings to your significant other. Don’t just do something special for that one day.
Why do I have to buy presents for girls? Why isn’t it both ways? Why is it a big deal, we don’t even take a day off from it! It’s a whack day, it’s a day for someone to be greedy. A reason for me to be broke. It’s overrated. Boys don’t care about Valentine’s Day until they have someone. Some boys responded that “it’s stupid!” However there’s nothing wrong with doing something nice for your partner. You should always do something spectacular!
-“It a time to do something special for your significant other. It’s nice to do something out of the ordinary and go for the gold.” Mr. Fellows
– “I don’t believe I should celebrate my love to my wife once a year, I should show my love everyday. You only do something special for for one day do something nice, what about the others. Don’t be cheap for one day, but celebrate for everyday!” Pastor. Nīno

I’ve introduced you to various seniors that attended to South Lancaster Academy Jared Allain, Christelle Omeler, and Gabe Taveras. Now I present to you Loree Drasich one of the coolest person ever, actually the chillest person in the senior class. During spirit week we had throwback and she wore the best outfit of the day; she came in a unicorn onesie. She attended Browning Elementary to South Lancaster Academy for eleven years and will be graduating from here. Loree is part of Voce, choir and the yearbook and is also in the step team in SLA she is very involved in a lot of activities.
My experience with SLA has actually been pretty good. No place is perfect, high school is never a perfect place to be. I’ve had some great teachers, great friends, and outstanding opportunities. The friendships and bonds that’s are made here are unforgettable. It breaks my heart that I’ll be leaving in mere months. Soon the people ice come to personally know are such treasures. Overall, I’m actually pretty glad that I came here. I’m sad that I’m leaving my classmates, they’re more like my family. Even the ones who joined in our class this year couldn’t love them less. We all been through a lot, I’m very glad that I will graduate with them the Best Senior Class 2016!
Thank you Loree Drasich for telling us your experience in South Lancaster Academy! Please leave any comments below!
The night before the first day of school I was so nervous Icouldn’t sleep all night. When it was finally the first day I didn’t know anyone and I didn’t know who to talk to but Victoria Leite (she’s the ginger in the photo). But what stunk was that we weren’t in the same grade or had any classes together. I got my schedule and didn’t know where my classes were. I started to miss my old friends and the school I use to attend. Until I finally made friends during the Senior Survival. These would include Gilbert, Tristan, Stepehen, Aaron, and Caleb. It’s sad to know that soon we will be leaving South Lancaster Academy as graduate students and go to different places to achieve our dreams. I’m going to miss friends and my family in the class of 2016!
