Fire and Ice 2016 Review!

This past week on February the eleventh of 2016, South Lancaster Academy students piled into the bus fifteen minutes after school. They were going to head off towards the Province Place mall in Rhode Island to spend some time together and then eat together at the restaurant Fire and Ice.

After an hour ride the students unloaded from the bus and walked across the street into the giant, five floored mall where they were able to spend an hour and a half walking around the mall looking for a place to snack, a special gift for their significant other for Valentine’s day, or just for a treat-yo-self spree.

After the allotted time passed, the students made a mad dash to Fire and Ice (it was freezing outside). Once inside the students and faculty grabbed some plates and gathered around the center of the restaurant where their dishes were tossed and turned around on a burner until done. Students laughed and watched spatulas fly and heard sauces sizzle.

After the main dish, everyone received icecream that they decorated themselves (or turned into floats). Afterwards the students piled back onto the bus and arrived back at the school at around 9 pm.

Overall the trip was a huge success!

Have you ever visited Fire and Ice? How was the food? How was the mall if you visited it? Let us know in the comments below!

About Sabrina N. Mapes

There are only so many people who can say they're fans of pirates, superheroes, and violin pop; I am one of them. Some would describe me as spontaneous, others a spazz, and some a caffeine addict... that last one is no longer true.
