A few weeks ago I introduced you to three guys Stephen LaFrankie, Jared Allain, and Tristan Johnson. Now I introduce you to Madison Reyenolds.

My senior year… Wow! The only thing is, I had to move to go to a different school. All those feelings of nervousness, anxiety and stress ruled my last few months at home. I felt hopeful but I worried that it might not work out. I was so beyond nervous. My first day wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be and as the days went by, it got easier. People began to welcome me into the SLA family and I was slowly integrating into the school. Before I knew it, it was time for the annual Senior Survival trip. I honestly started to dread the trip. I wasn’t looking forward to waking up at three in the morning, a six hour bus ride, sleeping in tents and potential rain. But, I took those steps onto the bus and boarded on an adventure that was more than I bargained for!

I have to say that going on Senior Survival with South Lancaster Academy was the best decision I’ve ever made. It wasn’t just the time getting to know my classmates or the fun activities we did or the tears we shared by the campfire… it was one of the most spiritually uplifting times of my life. The bonds formed and memories made on the trip are ones that I will cherish forever. By the end of the trip I could honestly say that I loved each and every classmate and chaperone who participated. In my last few high school years I’ve been torn apart from an SDA school that I loved and had a bad experience at another Christian school. I’ve been so sad and not myself, but since I came to SLA I feel happy again. The Lord is so good. He is blessing each one of us every day, even when we can’t see it. I now see how God has been watching over me and preparing the way for something better. I am so grateful to be here. It’s exactly where God wants me and I look forward to the rest of my senior year!

Thank you Madison Reyenolds for sharing with us your experience in South Lancaster Academy as a Senior!
