Born on May 24, 1989 in Oakland, CA as Gerald Earl Gillum. Growing up as a teen G-Eazy joined his first rap group Bay Boyz, he began to produce a number of singles as a sophomore while he was attending Loyola University of New Orleans. Arriving on stage with his hair slicked back and a leather jacket, he became known as the “James Dean” of rap. In 2011, his mixtape “The Endless Summer”, this landed his hit redo of Dion’s “Runaround Sue”. In 2012, he was on the road with Hoodie Allen and also joined the Van’s Warped Tour. In 2014, he released his album, “These Things Happen”. G-Eazy is known for his laid-back music, which talks about his life and things that are happening in the world.
