Apple Acquires Beats!

Apple just bought Beats for $3.2 billion! Was this a bad move or a good move by Apple? Will this move by Apple help them in the long run?

Beats Apple

This is one of the best moves Apple could make with the company called, “Beats.”  This move will help Apple earn their money back and gain more customers.  Companies like HP have, “Beats Audio,”  in some of their laptops.  Since Apple owns Beats now, companies like HTC and HP most likely will not have Beats Audio in their products anymore.  Apple will most likely put this technology into their own products like their iPads, Macbook Pro’s, iPhones, and headphones.

Beats Audio in iPhone (not real…yet)

In addition, now Apple own Beats Music. This is a music service like Pandora or Spotify, except users pay a monthly fee to access music.  Apple will get all of the money from these sales now.  This will be great for the customer and the company because more people are willing to pay for a service on a monthly basis instead of buying a $10 album.

Also, Beats are known worldwide, with many sports players from every league using their headphones. These devices basically advertise for Beats for free. Now Apple will inherit all of that publicity.  But it will be interesting if Apple changes the name and or the logo on the headphones.  Apple will most likely keep the current name, because that would make people upset.

This was a big move by Apple that made some people skeptical about this transaction. Do you believe that this was a good move by Apple, or a bad move that will hurt the company?  Please leave a comment down below with your thoughts on this situation.
