My Terrifying Moment

We all have one frightening memory that we will always remember and learn from. It can be something like getting into a car crash from driving recklessly or climbing mountains without any rope.

“When we went colporting a couple of summers ago we went to go drop off someone with us, Elena. But we were out of gas, so someone said we should put it in neutral, so we did. We ended up going down this hill full speed without stopping, we passed the stop sign and hit a bump that made us go flying through the air.”

“I had slept over my friends house and we had gotten up early to see the sun rise. We decided to climb up on his roof to get a better view. About an hour after we were up there someone from his neighborhood (overseer if the condos) came and started yelling at us to come down. We didn’t want to get in trouble, so we took off to other sides of the roof. I jumped off into a tree on the side, but when I tried to grab a branch, it broke and I fell a few feet before I landed on two branches that broke my fall, so I quickly climbed down and ran.”

“When I was three years old I was really sick and got sent to the hospital  for a week and a half and nobody knew what was wrong with me, my intestines were messed up. They gave me a death date but miraculously by the end of the week I was healed and nobody knew how. My mom told me she prayed to God that if he healed me, she would work on a personal relationship with Him everyday.”

” Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7
