Bruins Continue Bashing Competition
The Boston Bruins are currently first in the Atlantic Division and are on a 10-game win streak as they keep conquering other teams and outscoring the competition. In March they are showing everyone that they are at the top of the food chain in the NHL and showing other teams who is boss.
Their current record for the season thus far is 47-17-5. They added to their 10-game win streak by beating the Devils 4-2 last night. The Bruins are having such a good season that they are challenging St. Louis for the best regular season record.
The winning streak is the Bruins’ longest since a 10-game run in November 2011. It’s also four shy of the franchise record set in 1929-30. Marchand, left wing, when asked about thoughts said ‘‘We’re not thinking about anything,’’ he said of the record and the run at the President’s Trophy. ‘‘We’ve cleared that out of our minds and are trying to take it game by game and day by day. We’ve played too many games in too short of a time to think like that. It’s just a struggle getting up every day and looking at the next game. It’s been a pretty tiring month.”
Stay tuned as the Bruins make their run to win the Stanley Cup and to beat the franchise record for most consecutive wins.
