Microsofts Welcomes A New CEO
This week, Microsoft named Satya Nadella as their new CEO for the company. Nadella was one of many candidates to apply to take the place of the Steve Ballmer as CEO. Ballmer stated that he believes the company is in good hands with Nadella and that the future of Microsoft is sure to be bright. Nadella has worked for Microsoft for 22 years and is eager to be the new leader of the company and continue to take it far. He even went as far as to have Bill Gates step down as chairman and take on the new title of founder and technology advisor. In a recent video, Gates said he is thrilled about his new position increasing his time at the company.
Nadella, 46, was born in India and went to school at the Mangalore University where he studied Electrical Engineering. Later, he move to the United States to go to school at the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee to study computer science.
