Midnight Release of “Xbox One”

At midnight November 22 (12:01am), the Microsoft Xbox one was released.  This was a very anticipated console from Microsoft.  November 21 at about 6:30pm I went to Best Buy and waited for almost six hours in line to get my Xbox one.  It was a lot of fun, but very cold.

Whenever a big product comes out like an iPhone, Xbox, PlayStation, or piece of technology comes out, people will get in line and wait for the release of that product.  Their are many reason to get a product at midnight release, you will be able to use that product and show off before all of your friends, you will want to get rid of that old product, and you want to get that product before it’s sold out.  I personally got one just so I can get one rather than waiting for a month when they stock up.

When I arrived at Best Buy, I got in line at 6.30pm having to wait six hours till the release of the Xbox one.  At 10:00opm they would give you a piece of paper that you would fill out, that would guarantee you a Xbox one, accessories, and games.  Once I got my ticket I grabbed something to eat till 11:00pm, I got back in line and waited.  At 11:30pm Best Buy allowed some people to go inside and pay for the Xbox one that you are going to buy, I was very lucky and got the, “Day One Edition” of the Xbox.  They put a sticker on the outside of the box and let me buy all of the game and accessories right their.  I bought the charging pack and three games for my Xbox, I got Battlefield 4, Madden 25, and Call of Duty Ghost.  So I went back outside till 12:00pm and came back to get my Xbox one.

If I were to go and camp out for a new piece of technology, I would do it in a heartbeat.  If you enjoyed this article, please leave a like and a comment below.
