The “Xbox One” is Almost Here

Coming later this fall, the Xbox One is competing with the PlayStation 4.  The Xbox One will not be cheap. With a price around $500, this could stop many customers from purchasing.  This new generation is supposed to be much better than its previous console and is built with many features you might enjoy.

The Xbox One is targeting gamers, movie watchers, music listeners, and TV watchers.  You are now able to use your console as a media box, now able to flip though your TV channels without changing your computer source.  Music isn’t really a big or useful feature, but is a good one to have.  For movie watchers, the Xbox One can replace your Apple TV, Roku, or other set top box.

The exclusive games for the Xbox One are great, like Halo, Gears of War, and Forza.  But with this new Xbox the games will be amazing and beautiful.  The specs on the new Xbox are very powerful, with its new 8-core AMD processor built around the x86-64 instruction set.  Now supporting 4k resolution, games will never be the same.  The new controller is a big upgrade from the previous controller, with a built-in rechargeable battery, and a cleaner, sleeker design.

The new Kinect will offer voice features, and physical movement to some of your games, without using a controller.  Next year they will start selling the console without the Kinect for those who do not want it, or use it.  The Xbox One will be priced at $500, and will include a Kinect, Xbox Console, 1 Controller, and all of the wires.

I personally will be buying the Xbox One, it looks like a great system that is filled with many great features that almost anyone will enjoy.  Will you be getting the Xbox One or PlayStation 4?  Or are  you a PC gamer?  Please leave a comment below.
