Student Spotlight: Samantha Crowley

This year 2011-2012, South Lancaster Academy welcomed a new Freshmen, Samantha Crowley. She was recently interviewed by Pioneer staff and she warmly shared with us a little piece of her background.

Favorite Color: Blue
Grade: 9th

Q: Which school did you come from? How is it different from SLA?
A: “I used to go to Parker. It’s not a Christian school and they don’t have a traditional grading system. They grade by ‘beginning’, ‘approaching’, ‘meets’, ‘exceeds’, and ‘incomplete’.”

Q: How do you like SLA so far?
A: “It’s good. The academics aren’t as hard. It’s easier.”

Q: What classes interest you the most?
A: “I like history. Except the tests”

Q: Have you always been a Seventh-Day Adventist?
A: “Yes”

Q:  Do you have any hobbies?
A: “I do a lot of music. Play a lot of instruments.”

Q: Where do you live?
A: “Berlin”

Q: What’s your favorite sport?
A: “I like to run. Track, cross-country.”
