Browning Welcomes New Teachers Next Fall

By: Natalia Perez

Next coming school year, 2011-2012, Browning Elementary will be welcoming two new staff.

Mrs. Joanne Baldwin, who will now be teaching the fourth grade, is very excited to have received this opportunity.
“I feel very blessed to have the chance to teach the 4th grade class at Browning. It is exciting for me to return to working in an Adventist setting. I look forward to working with all the teachers, staff, and families at Browning/SLA. And future 4th graders…..I can’t wait to meet you! We are going to have a fun year of learning!” exclaims Mrs. Baldwin.

Mrs. Kendra Bisson, who will now be teaching the fifth and sixth grade stated, “ I am very happy to be a part of the Browning team, and am looking forward to working with the 5th and 6th graders.”

Judging from these responses, the new staff offer a promising and enjoyable year for the students they will be teaching and are very anxious themselves to take on these new circumstances.

The dream begins with a teacher who believes in you, who tugs and pushes and leads you to the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called “truth.”  ~Dan Rather

The mediocre teacher tells.  The good teacher explains.  The superior teacher demonstrates.  The great teacher inspires.  ~William Arthur Ward
